The ideal Playball™ franchisee has the following characteristics:

• Has confidence to market themselves and the Playball™ program

No previous training is required. While previous teaching or sports coaching experience will give you a head start, Playball Australia provides thorough initial training as well as ongoing support. We cover all key aspects of running a Playball franchise and take the time to build your skills and confidence in all areas of the business. 

Our training is tailored to your specific needs and covers both theoretical and practical aspects of the business. This includes practical work with children as well as learning Playball's unique system of sports coaching. Training is delivered over a 7-10 day period.

All startup businesses require a certain amount of time and motivation to get off the ground. The more hours you are prepared to dedicate to growing the business, the faster the business will expand.

Our flexible model allows you to participate in a full time or part time capacity in line with your lifestyle and business goals. Most of our franchise owners work on an average of 25-30 hours a week.

Classes can be delivered either in schools, child care centres, or community venues (for example: sports venues or local halls). We advise you on how to identify appropriate and suitable venues.

Playball provides a startup marketing kit to help you get the ball rolling fast. This includes both printed and social media marketing support to promote your new classes in your community. Our training also includes developing the know how and confidence to approach key people in your area.
